John H. Tuthill has made Tillamook County his home for more than 40 years. He was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 1976 and practiced in Tillamook County from 1978 - 2021.

His professional background includes:

Partner in the firm of Tuthill & Johnson (2019 to present).

Sole practitioner, John H. Tuthill & Associates (1985 to 2018)

Partner in the firm of Johnson, Hantke, and Tuthill (1980 to 1984).

John lives in Tillamook with his wife, Marlene. He has three grown children, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. In his free time, John enjoys visiting his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, spending time with his wife, and traveling the world.

Dustin A. Johnson

Partner

Dustin relocated to Tillamook County, Oregon in order to be closer to his family in the Pacific Northwest, from Las Vegas, Nevada. He attended law school at California Western School of Law where he excelled in many subjects, including Constitutional Law I, obtaining an Academic Achievement Award. Dustin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2001. Prior to attending law school, Dustin served as an intern at the U.S. House of Representatives, 105th Congress.

Dustin was admitted to practice law by the Oregon State Bar in 2006 and the State Bar of Nevada in 2005. Over the years, Dustin has assisted clients in a wide range of legal matters. His experience has been shaped by the changes in the economy over the last nine years, and the evolving needs of his clients.

Annette Salo

Legal Assistant

A native of Tillamook County, Annette Salo began her career as a legal assistant in 1985 in Tillamook. Prior to joining Tuthill & Johnson, LLC in 1997, she worked in two general practice law firms developing a background in family law, real estate, civil litigation, estate planning, adoption, probate, and corporation and business law. Her primary work at Tuthill & Johnson, LLC is in family law matters. She also provides assistance on estate planning, real estate, adoptions, and other civil matters.

Annette’s background, ongoing experience, and understanding of people are essential to our clients involved in family law matters. We take the team approach to every case affording our clients years of expertise and the best possible representation.

Deborah "Deb" Hendrickson

Office Manager, Legal Assistant

Deb Hendrickson has worked as a legal assistant for Tuthill & Johnson, LLC since December 1986 and has managed the office since 1997. Prior to joining our team, Deb worked in the Circuit Court and the Clerk’s Office for Tillamook County.

Deb most likely will be the first person you have contact with when you call or visit our office. She understands that, for many people, the legal process can be overwhelming. Her experience and knowledge about the legal process helps to put people at ease.

Deb’s legal responsibilities include handling all criminal, traffic, game, and juvenile cases. In addition, she handles matters relating to municipalities, landlord/tenant, general civil law, and estate planning.

As the office manager, some of Deb’s responsibilities are calendaring appointments and court hearings, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and client billing.
